Theme: Telling Time

Use rhyme and rhythm to teach your child about time as you follow an energetic mouse around in these fun pages!
After reading this book, try an activity with your child! Here is a list of some that we have found for you!

Extension Activities:

1. Make a clock and mouse! Follow these instructions to do this fun craft with your child!
2. Exercise and time yourselves! Pick a style of exercise like walking, running, jumping jacks, jump roping, or anything to get your heart rates up and do it with your child for a set amount of time. Make sure he or she does not stop until time is up and have them watch the clock too, or participate in timing.
3. Have a scavenger hunt! Pick a few household items for your child to find and time them while they find them all. Celebrate how fast they found everything!
4. Make a dozen cookies into a clock! Teach your child about baking and make some delicious cookies with chocolate chip numbers baked into them. Position them onto a circle platter like the numbers on the clock and have fun choosing times to eat a cookie!
5. Make a schedule! Write down a few things that you and your child will do and let them help you schedule everything.
