Picture after picture, let this book spark a conversation with your child and tell its story in your own way!

After reading, choose an activity to do with them. Here is a list of some that we have found for you!

Extension Activities:

Color! Print out one of these three coloring pages, grab some crayons, markers, or colored pencils and watch your child use their imagination with colors as they recall the story.
Make friendship bracelets! Assist your child in making a friendship bracelet for a friend or classmate.
Write a letter! Help your child write a short note to a friend explaining why s/he is such a good friend.
Go do a good deed! Teach your child about small acts of kindness by helping someone out. Click here and here to see how other families have done this!
Meet a new friend! After your child has completed a good deed or two, reward them with a trip to the playground. There, they can meet new friends and you can help by encouraging interaction. If your child is shy, walk up to the prospective new friend with your child and encourage them to play together. Then, find the caretaker of that child and if they are approachable, go sit with them and chat.
