We’re thrilled to share that Raising a Reader Massachusetts had the opportunity to partner with the Family Nurturing Center and Dorchester Family Engagement Network for their Playgroup in the Park summer series. This collaboration showcases our commitment to community engagement and early literacy development. By providing bags filled with books and supplies for the young participants, we’re supporting a program that aligns perfectly with our mission. The Playgroup in the Park, held on Wednesdays offers a rich mix of activities for children aged 18 months to 6 years and their caregivers, including outdoor play, exercise, art projects, storytelling, and songs. We’re grateful for this opportunity to support such an impactful program and look forward to more initiatives that nurture a love for reading and learning from an early age. By joining forces with the Family Nurturing Center and Dorchester Family Engagement Network, we can make a greater impact in building literacy-rich communities and supporting social-emotional learning and healthy family relationships.
