Thank You!

For 16 years, our inclusive and diverse program has exemplified our mission of eliminating the literacy opportunity gap among children between birth and age six in Massachusetts. To accomplish that goal, we work with local partners who are trusted within their communities to provide access to literacy supports and books for families – many of whom are dealing with a variety of challenges.

Our program provides a unique way to help young children engage with books and their world. In addition to books, we also work with mirrors and windows

Reading helps children contextualize the world around them and to see themselves represented in what they read – a mirror.

It is equally important for them to learn about the differences between us all – a window into others’ worlds.

We are breaking down barriers to help families with young children develop, practice, and maintain habits of regularly reading together at home so they leave our program empowered and prepared to achieve future success. And your support makes that possible.

Thank you, from the entire Raising A Reader Massachusetts team.
