Because of individual donors like you we raised $74,825 between March 29th and May 31st in our 2012 Spring Into Reading Annual Fund campaign. Thank you!
You might remember we had a challenge from an anonymous donor – the challenge was to raise at least $70,000 from individuals during the campaign. With your contribution we met this goal, and are now looking forward to receiving a $70,000 challenge grant from Strategic Grant Partners. Thank you!
So…$74,825 + $70,000 = $144,825. Wow! These funds will be put to immediate use, supporting nearly 1,000 children and families in their efforts to develop, practice, and maintain habits of reading together at home.
In fiscal year 2013, which starts on July 1, Raising A Reader MA expects to support the delivery of evidence-based early literacy services to more than 9,000 children and families in communities across the Commonwealth.
